PalmThe strike at CEIP Son Pisà, which began last Wednesday due to the hiring of Miquel Roldán, a teacher convicted of harassing a former student, continued this Monday, pending a meeting with the Ministry of Education and Universities at 4 p.m.

The spokesperson for the school's Apima, Verónica Fillol, has explained that participation on the fourth day of protests remains at 60% of the center's 500 students, as, she indicated in statements to Europa Press, "families do not want to take their children to class".

This very Monday afternoon, family representatives met with members of the Ministry of Education, but they did not reach any agreement nor did they receive any type of proposal from the ministry. Thus, the parents of the educational center have decided to continue with the strike awaiting a real solution.

Likewise, this morning they hung posters around the neighborhood where one can read 'CEIP Son Pisà united. For a safe school', 'If they are not safe, we are not calm' and 'The problem exists, action must be taken'.

They also placed the banner on the center's facade 'Children first, always', which CEIP M. Antònia Salvà in Son Sardina kept for the 11 days of strike due to the incorporation of the same teacher in October 2025.
