PalmaThe third week of medical strike since the beginning of the year to oppose the Framework Statute proposed by the Ministry of Health, whose negotiations have not yet been unblocked, has started "with force".
The mobilizations, scheduled between Monday and Wednesday, have begun with the usual concentrations at the gates of the archipelago's hospitals. They have taken place at the hospitals of Son Espases, Son Llàtzer, Manacor, Inca and Mateu Orfila, all except Can Misses, whose professionals will concentrate their protests in the demonstration that will take place next Wednesday.
Although only a few hours have passed since the start of this third week of medical strike, Simebal sources have estimated that it has started "with strength" and with high follow-up in anesthesia services.
This, according to the aforementioned sources, suggests that once again scheduled surgical operations will be suspended and only those that comply with minimum services, i.e., emergencies, will be carried out.
