PalmA 23-year-old British man has been seriously injured after jumping headfirst into a hotel pool in Sant Antoni (Ibiza).
According to a statement released Wednesday by the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Polyclinic, paramedics attended the facility around 6:00 p.m. and treated the young man for multiple injuries with an open head wound.
The injured man was taken to the private clinic, where he underwent surgery by the neurosurgery team. He is currently in the ICU with a diagnosis of cervical spinal cord injury, head trauma, and a fracture of the sixth vertebra.
