A woman dies in an accident on the main road of Menorca
In this vehicle there were travelling five people who have remained trapped, one of them was a baby
PalmaA woman has died and five other people, including a baby, have been injured in a collision between two cars this Thursday on the general road of Menorca (Me-1).
The incident occurred at 4:30 PM at kilometer 7 of this road, between Alaior and Maó, when two vehicles collided and one overturned, according to SAMU 061.
Five people were traveling in this vehicle and were trapped. The Menorca Firefighters traveled to the scene to extricate the injured.
Two medicalized ambulances, one sanitized ambulance, and a basic life support ambulance also attended, as well as a logistics vehicle and the Civil Guard.
Paramedics treated the other five occupants of the vehicle, who suffered multiple traumas and were transferred to Mateu Orfila Hospital and Juaneda Ciutadella.
The injured are a girl under two years old, a 45-year-old man, and three women aged 27, 47, and 34.
