According to Aena data, 349,763 German travelers arrived in Ibiza in 2025, slightly below the 352,715 of 2024, but above the 319,886 of 2023.
According to data from the Consell, regarding connectivity, 384,654 places have been scheduled from the country for the season, 7.06% less than in 2024.
The reportEconomic situation in tourism 2025 and outlook 2026The figures presented at Fitur by the Vice President of the Government and Minister of Economy, Finance, and Innovation, Antoni Costa, indicate that the Balearic Islands closed 2025 with almost 19 million tourists, primarily international, and a 4.9% increase in tourist spending, reaching €23.446 billion. The tourist rate rose by 2.1%, with international tourists playing a key role, reaching 15.5 million in November, while domestic visitors totaled 3.3 million (1.4% less than in 2024). The Balearic Government highlighted the "evident deseasonalization" of the Balearic Islands as a tourist destination, as growth has been more intense during the low season months than during the high season. The increase was 7.1% in the low season and 0.7% in the high season. In this context, the Consell (Island Council) emphasized this Friday that the profile of German visitors confirms their importance. According to the Tourism Intelligence System (SIT), 62% of German tourists visiting the island stay for more than a week, indicating a market characterized by long stays and lower turnover. Their high degree of loyalty is also noteworthy, as 49% of Germans had previously visited Ibiza.
Regarding spending, the German market ranks sixth among the ten monitored countries in average spending per card, with €269.67, according to SIT Ibiza. This spending is distributed across restaurants, accommodation, and retail. The President of the Consell de Eivissa (Island Council of Ibiza), Vicent Marí, highlighted that the German market is loyal and its profile aligns with the strategy of consolidating value and stability. Ibiza will have its own stand at ITB Berlin, with the participation of eight co-exhibitors, including municipalities and companies from the tourism sector. During the fair, the Consell will host an informational luncheon with German media outlets, where the island's sustainable tourism strategy will be presented.
