They have spent more than 20.4 billion euros, 5.1% more than in the first ten months of 2024.

PalmThe Balearic Islands received 15,281,771 international tourists through October, a 2.51% increase, who spent over €20.469 billion in the region, a 5.1% increase, according to data published Wednesday by the National Statistics Institute. In October alone, the archipelago welcomed over 1.5 million international tourists, a 1.72% decrease compared to the same month last year, with spending exceeding €2 billion, a 1.6% drop. Despite the decline, this is the second-highest figure for international tourist arrivals and the second-highest for spending in an October for the region in the historical record. On average, each tourist visiting the Balearic Islands spent €195 per day in October, 3.64% more than in the same month of the previous year, and stayed an average of 6.83 days in the Balearic Islands. In total, the average expenditure per person was €1,330, 0.18% more than in October of the previous year.
