The week begins with Cati Moyà

I will be In Vilafranca de Bonany, once again, to enjoy FIET, the Children's and Youth Theatre Fair, which is now in its twenty-third year. It does so with a program that includes dance performances, masked theatre, puppetry, circus, magic, clown and a long list of proposals aimed not only at children, but also designed to be enjoyed by families, both inside and outside the theater. Because beyond the sessions scheduled in the various spaces, one of the great things about FIET is that it turns all of Vilafranca into a theatrical celebration, with activities that fill the town's squares and streets. The opening will be on Thursday with the show Bolero, from the French company DK 59. From Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 October.

I will arrive to the Factoría de Sonido in Santa Maria for the first edition of the Mallorca Dead Festival, which, according to its organizers, is more than just a series of concerts, is "a declaration of principles designed for those who want to experience a more visceral musical connection." Participants include bands like The Raters and My Own Burial. Friday, October 17, at 9 p.m.

I will listen How Sebastià Alzamora and Antònia Arbona talk about books Bow peaks, by Cristina Álvarez Roig, and The phallic ambition of orchids, by Israel Clarà, respectively, in Quart Creixent. Thursday, October 16, at 6 p.m.

I will discover the proposal of photographer Cati Bestard in LapseThe exhibition, curated by Pilar Rubí at La Misericordia, explores the potential of error and the beauty of the unexpected, using various techniques that invite us to celebrate the fragility of the image. Until December 31st.

I'll be back at the cinema to meet again with the director of one of the masterpieces that this millennium has given us, that Call me by your name which helped many of us discover an author, André Aciman, a couple of actors, Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer, and a filmmaker, Luca Guadagnino. This latest release is now Witch hunt, one thriller Starring Julia Roberts, Ayo Edebiri, Chloë Sevigny, and Andrew Garfield. Available at Aficine theaters from October 17.

The week begins with JA Mendiola

I will recommend go to the Manacor Theatre to see the umpteenth version ofA wild God, the piece that rounded off the career of French playwright Yasmina Reza, after the incontestable success ofArtIt tells the story of a conversation between two couples who meet to discuss a minor, initially trivial, conflict between their children. Things become more complicated and escalate in intensity and decibels as the minutes pass. It arrives in the version directed by and starring Pere Arquillué, which is already a guarantee. He is also joined by Maria Ribera, Ivan Benet, and Laura Aubert. Saturday, October 18, at 7 p.m.

I'll see At the Teatro Principal in Inca, as part of the 2025 Classical Festival, Canarian soprano Raquel Lojendio, accompanied by the 1830 Academy Orchestra, conducted by Fernando Marina, will offer a varied and interesting recital featuring opera arias, zarzuela, and musical interludes. Saturday, October 18, at 7 p.m.

I will advise go to the church of Bunyola to hear the Chapel of the Seu, directed by the owner, Joan Company, who will offer A walk through the history of religious music, from Guido da Arezzo to Eriks Esenvalds, as well as two premieres by Mallorcan composers: Baltasar Bibiloni and Tomeu Quetglas Roca. Sunday, October 19, at 6:30 p.m.

I will go to the Principal Theatre in Palma to see this particular version in puppets, object theatre and dance The Cenerentola, presented by Zaches Teatro, which moves away from the readings of Perrault, the Grimms, and many others, making it even more appealing. Sunday, October 19, at 12 p.m.

I will enjoy again and all the blows that are necessary with Blade Runner, The Final Cut, where Ridley Scott offered his version of a conclusion, the one from the official premiere day, forced by the production company, that made no sense, no rhyme or reason. Years later, the film starring Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, Sean Young, Daryl Hannah, and Joanna Cassidy, among others, and now a classic, will be shown at the CineCiutat. Friday, October 17, at 7:30 p.m.
