What concert do you want to go to this summer?
We select twenty live shows that will highlight the cultural agenda for July and August.

PalmFor many, and increasingly, the main cultural highlights of the summer are concerts. A significant portion of the more than 7,500 concerts organized throughout 2023, according to data from the latest Yearbook of Cultural Statistics, took place during the months of July and August. In total, popular music performances and festivals that year raised more than 6.5 million euros, a million more than just a year earlier. And the offering has only grown over the years. Of the hundreds organized for the summer of 2025, we offer a selection of 20 that include different styles, dates, and locations.
Lax'n'Busto
Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th July at 8pm - Cloister of Sant Domingo, Pollença
It's been almost 40 years since their debut—they started as a group in 1986, although they didn't release their first album until three years later—and their capacity for success hasn't diminished at all. The return of Lax'n'Busto with Pemi Fortuny will be the main event at Pollença Rock, with two concerts preceded by performances by Suasi on Tuesday and Ánimos Parrec on Wednesday.
Yerai Cortés
Thursday, July 10, at 8 p.m. - Lithica, Ciutadella
Las Canteras de s'Hostal will once again become the epicenter of the Menorcan summer thanks to the Fosquets de Lithica festival.
Now Malikian
Friday, July 11, at 10 p.m. - Courtyard of the old Command Headquarters, Ibiza
The Noches de Tànit series reaches its eleventh edition at the foot of the walled enclosure of Dalt Vila. Modernity and classicism.
Jackie Oates
Thursday, July 17, at 8:45 p.m. - Monti-sion Sanctuary, Porreres
British artist Jackie Oates's first performance in Mallorca will take place five years later than planned: it was supposed to be on March 14, 2020. With the pandemic over, the organizers of the Women Don't Wait for Waits series, which will conclude in 2025, have managed to reschedule this violinist's performance.
Joven Dolores
Friday, July 18, at 10 p.m. - Ibiza Theater, Ibiza
It will be one of the most celebrated concerts by the Ibizan public. Not only will it mean reuniting with a band that hadn't played on the island for over a year, Joven Dolores, but it will also be the first opportunity to hear their fourth album, Amor y Resiliencia, live. They've already presented their album in cities like Barcelona, Madrid, and Valencia, and will finally be presenting it at home.
Jay-Jay Johanson
Saturday, July 19, at 9 p.m. - Teatro Principal de Inca
It's become something of a tradition: whenever Swedish artist Jay-Jay Johanson releases a new album, he includes the Balearic Islands on his album presentation tour. This summer, he'll be back, as part of the Sonsdenit festival, to perform songs from his latest album, Backstage, which maintains Johanson's signature spirit, with delicate, intimate, and elegant melodies, and in which he even ventures into a French song dedicated to Rimbaud.
Rita Payés
Thursday, July 24, at 9 p.m. - Teatro Principal de Maó
Also included in the Sonsdenit program, Rita Payés's performance in Maó promises to be one of those unforgettable nights that only a singer with a genuine personality and voice can offer. The Catalan singer will present her third album, De camino al camino (On the Road to the Road), which combines the main themes of her career, such as jazz, the new bag, and singer-songwriter music. The following day, she will perform at Mobofest.
Los Catarras
Friday, July 25, at 8 p.m. - San Francisco, Formentera
They're one of those bands synonymous with summer, thanks to their festive, upbeat, and all-around music. This is demonstrated by the tours Els Catarres perform every July and August, featuring their sixth album, Paracaidistas.
Saturday, July 26 - Hereveta Park, Porreres
It's one of the highlights of Mobofest, which returns to Porreres with three days of concerts culminating with a performance by Amaia, headliner of the festival's ninth edition. It will be the singer's only stop in Mallorca this year, where she will present songs from Si abro los ojos no es real (If I Open My Eyes Isn't Real), an album that once again demonstrates her infinite ability to bend the rules of contemporary pop.
Guillem Gisbert
Monday, July 28, at 9 p.m. - Les Voltes, Palma
Guillem Gisbert, one of the headliners at the previous edition of Mobofest, returns to Mallorca for another festival, the Atlántida Mallorca Film Fest, which combines film premieres with performances by musicians such as Maria Jaume, Cariño, and Ginestà. Gisbert will offer a free concert at Les Voltes, featuring songs from his solo debut, ¡Baila la mazurka!
Marion Rampal
Tuesday, July 29, at 10 p.m. - Can Cirera Prim Park, Sa Pobla
One of the first names confirmed for Mallorca Jazz in Pobla, which is celebrating its 31st edition this year, is French singer Marion Rampal. With the show "Song for Abbey"—a tribute to one of the great figures of American jazz, the singer, poet, and activist Abbey Lincoln—Rampal and her band will offer a recital that will also serve as a review of the recent history of jazz.
Amaral
Wednesday, July 30, at 9:30 p.m. - Mercadal Fairgrounds
The first stop in the Balearic Islands on the Dolce Vita Tour, the tour with which Eva Amaral and Juan Aguirre present their ninth album, Dolce Vita, will be at the Menorca Music Festival. The tour will take place in the archipelago, in this case in Felanitx.
Tuesday, August 5, at 9:30 p.m. - Cloister of Sant Domingo, Pollença
2025 has been full of celebrations for Maria del Mar Bonet. In addition to the concerts she's given to mark the 50th anniversary of her historic performance at the Olympia in Paris, she's also celebrating the 150th anniversary of Lo Pi de Formentor, a poem by Miquel Costa y Llobera that Bonet set to music in 1981. It will be just one of the Mallorcan singer's already classic songs that will be heard.
Miquel Serra and Joan Miquel Oliver
Wednesday, August 6, at 9 p.m. - Castell d'Alaró
There will be several opportunities for the Mallorcan public to see two of the island's most beloved musicians, Miquel Serra and Joan Miquel Oliver, together. However, none will be as special as the concert they will perform at Castell d'Alaró, a stage that Maika Makovski premiered last year as part of the Sonsdenit series, and which Serra and Oliver will fill this year after, like everyone else, climbing on foot.
Soleá Morente and Niño de Elche
Saturday, August 9, at 9 p.m. - Sanctuary of Consolació, Sant Joan
The La Luna en Verso series, organized by the Mallorca Literary Foundation, includes a flamenco evening this year featuring two figures as groundbreaking as they are deeply connected to the essence. Soleá Morente, who will present her latest work, Con los nudillos, and Niño de Elche, who concludes with Cante a lo gitano a trilogy dedicated to revisiting the ancestral principles of flamenco from a contemporary perspective.
Laura Marchal
Thursday, August 14, at 8:30 p.m. - Lithica, Ciutadella
In the same vein as other contemporary artists who combine roots music with contemporary themes and sounds, Andalusian Laura Marchal looks to traditional repertoire to create songs that address issues such as precariousness and the lack of consideration Spanish society has for artists in her project La semilla del encanto Líthica.
Selva Nua
Saturday, August 16, at 9 p.m. - Casa Llorenç Villalonga, Binissalem
Like a breath of fresh air for the music scene. This is how the organizers of La Luna En Verso have defined the performance of Selva Nua, a band from Lleida that debuted in 2022 with the album Momentani and is already preparing a new album, which they have previewed with songs like Por defecto (By Default) and Será breve (It Will Be Brief). The evocative lyrics and nostalgic melodies of Joana Jové and Adrià Garcia will captivate all those who come to Binissalem.
Joana Gomila and Laia Vallès
Thursday, August 21, at 9 p.m. - Casal de Cultura Can Gelabert, Binissalem
And it will also be in Binissalem, specifically at the Can Gelabert Cultural Centre, where the Mallorcan public will be able to reconnect with two of the most innovative and unique artists on the current scene—and precisely for that reason, magnetic and interesting. Joana Gomila and Laia Vallès will be bringing their Puput Lab, an experimental sound improvisation laboratory, to Binissalem, inviting everyone to play, listen, and create.
Lori Meyers
Friday, August 29, at 7:30 p.m. - Torre Park, Felanitx
One of the most important events on the agenda for Mallorcan music lovers is the Sant Agustín festival in Felanitx. This year, one of the main events will be the Andalusian band Lori Meyers, born in 1998 and one of the icons of the golden age. In addition to them, La mujer de verde and LA, who will present their album A Modern Odyssey, will also be on stage.
Djamra
Saturday, August 30, at 9 p.m. - Explanada del Molinar, Montuïri
This may be one of those concerts that, rather than attracting fans, serves to create followers. Linked to what is known as Afroelectro, the duo Djamra combines some of the defining characteristics of North African musical culture with the new live trends of Bewis de la Rosa.
