Vox welcomes the appointment of a police officer as Director General of Immigration: "It looks good."

Gabriel Le Senne celebrates the PP's commitment to "border control."

PalmThe new president of Vox in the Balearic Islands, Gabriel Le Senne, blessed the appointment of National Police Sub-Inspector Manuel Pavón as Director General of Immigration this Wednesday. "It looks good," he stated: "He seems like someone who knows the sector and can help do a good job."

"I'm glad the PP is here to follow this line, which I believe is reasonable and makes common sense, of controlling the borders, since we have laws, they must be enforced," he continued. However, he denied that the party had pressured for his appointment. "Immigration policies have been negotiated, but not for people," he explained.

Regarding the possibility of being convicted for tearing down a photograph of the Rojas del Molinar party during a plenary session of Parliament, Le Senne expressed his confidence that "this scenario will not occur" and his promotion to Vox "shows that the party is also doing so." Regarding the possibility of heading Vox's list in the upcoming regional elections, he said he is open to it, but that the decision the provincial executive will make is still unknown. "The important thing is to bring Santiago Abascal to the Moncloa Palace; that is the national strategy," he concluded.
