PalmaThe Ara Més-Front Ampli candidate for Congress, Carme Gomila, formally presented her list for Congress this Tuesday. Accompanied by representatives from all the parties that make up the coalition, including the leader of Podem, Lucía Muñoz, who occupies the third place on the list, she has claimed the value of a proposal with a Balearic perspective. "We know the problems of these Islands and we do not need anyone to tell us what they are," she said, making a call to the sovereignist voter: "We present a plural, open candidacy that combines youth with experience.

"We are not presenting ourselves out of resignation, nor sadness, nor conformity," continued the also leader of Esquerra in the Islands and former councilor of Manacor. "We will hear talk of a useful vote. Useful vote for what, for whom?" she asked herself: "We want to be useful to the people who work and live in Mallorca, who cannot find a house and have to leave their town and their city." Thus, she warned that they will say "no, whoever governs," when "a political decision harms the Islands." Gomila took for granted that they will win a seat in Congress, but avoided venturing any result. "I want to claim a unitary candidacy": "I will give my all for this seat and to take the voice of the eight organizations to the state government." "We must be key to auditing a possible progressive government," she added.

Now Més-Front Ampli has managed to include Podemos on the lists even though the negotiations for the purple party to form the electoral coalition with them did not bear fruit. Muñoz defended the priorities of the space in order to defend Balearic interests in Congress: "Financing, the Special Regime of the Balearic Islands (REB) and the co-management of ports and airports."

They demand the "union of progressive forces"

Sergio Cerezo, from Sumar, who will occupy the second place on the list, has claimed the "union of the progressive forces of these Islands". The social worker has defended the "political commitment to vulnerable people": "We want to have more strength in Congress to expand rights and improve people's living conditions". Thus, he has defended that "family care" and work-life balance "should be a right and not a luxury, as well as strengthening public services".
