Vidal hopes that the PP and PSOE will incorporate funding for the Balearic Islands into the mobility law.
The eco-sovereignist has introduced an amendment so that the law includes specific financing mechanisms.

PalmVicenç Vidal, the Sumar-MÁS deputy in Congress, expressed his confidence that both the PP and the PSOE will support incorporating specific funding for the Balearic Islands into the state mobility law. This measure, Vidal explained in a press conference held this Wednesday, was introduced by him through an amendment—agreed upon with the Socialists—that clearly refers to the funding that the archipelago should receive.
The eco-sovereignty representative expressed confidence that in the next plenary session both the PP and the PSOE "will vote together in favor of a measure that is good for the Balearic Islands" and that contains the "necessary details for the preparation of a report analyzing equity in mobility and specific financing measures tailored to each territory."
"Forcing the State to put its commitment to specific mobility financing mechanisms in writing," Vidal maintained, reinforces issues that are already on the table, such as the railway agreement.
Protect cetaceans
The deputy from the Plurinational Group expressed his satisfaction with the inclusion in the Mobility Law of another amendment he made to protect cetaceans by limiting the speed of vessels in port waters.
