Vox demands that Parliament not translate its interventions into Catalan.

PalmVox registered a parliamentary initiative this Monday demanding that its deputies' interventions not be translated into Catalan. "The questions, as well as any initiative or written submission registered by the Vox parliamentary group, not be translated into Catalan," reads the document that Vox has sent to the Parliament's Bureau and signed by the group's spokesperson, Manuela Cañadas. Furthermore, the far-right party also demands that all communications it receives from Parliament be in Spanish (if not, in Spanish and Catalan).

On the other hand, Vox demands that when its deputies make interventions "in the Mallorcan language" or "any of the forms of the Balearic language," they not be translated into standard Catalan.

Immigration, housing, and language will be the three pillars of Vox's strategy this parliamentary year, according to Cañadas herself, who insisted that the arrival of migrants "is what worries citizens the most." To continue supporting the PP's initiatives, Cañadas has called on the Popular Party (PP) to comply with all the points they have agreed upon with the far right. "Vox votes are not free," she asserted.
