Authorities are investigating the possible violent death of an elderly woman in Manacor.

PalmThe National Police have opened an investigation into the possible violent death of a 90-year-old woman at her home in Son Macià, Manacor (Mallorca). According to sources close to the investigation, the woman's body was found this Friday at midday by her son, who alerted the emergency services. The National Police Homicide Unit and the Scientific Police have been mobilized and are inspecting the house. It is expected that, once the inspection is complete, a judicial commission will remove the body and transfer it to the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences to determine the cause of death.
