Luxury holiday in Ibiza for free: Man leaves hotel without paying the 17,600 euros he owed
The National Police have arrested the tourist accused of fraud.

PalmThe National Police have arrested a man of Senegalese origin in Ibiza as the alleged perpetrator of fraud for leaving a hotel without paying his bill. According to a statement from the police force, the events under investigation occurred in June, during which a man stayed at a well-known hotel in Ibiza City and left without paying the corresponding amount, which amounted to more than €17,600, after several weeks of accommodation and meals at the hotel.
Consequently, at the beginning of July, the police station received a complaint from the hotel's legal representative alleging fraud. The complainant reported that they had received several bank notifications referring to the return of payments supposedly made by the client, although the client left the hotel without paying the remaining amount.
From that moment on, work began to fully identify and locate the perpetrator. As a result, the specialized group (UDEV) located the man and arrested him days before he was due to leave the island for Paris. At the time of his arrest, the accused was staying at another hotel in Sant Antoni. The man had identification among his belongings, which turned out to be false.
