Independents de sa Pobla denounces that the Government wants to close the 315 line and demands that it functions all year round
The party reminds that the municipal plenary session approved in the month of May a motion to guarantee the service throughout the whole year and supports the collection of signatures promoted by the users

PalmaIndependents de sa Pobla – Coalition for Mallorca demands that the Government of the Balearic Islands maintain the TIB line 315 throughout the year and fulfill the agreement approved by the City Council plenary session on May 7th. The political group denounces that, six months after the motion was passed, none of the requested measures have been implemented and that the autonomous Executive, as it asserts, is determined to close the service.
The motion, presented by the Independents de sa Pobla, demanded that line 315 become a regular service throughout the year, that the winter route be redefined to guarantee the connection of sa Pobla with the municipalities of the north, and that the schedules and frequencies be agreed upon with the affected municipalities. The proposal received the support of all municipal groups, except for the Partit Popular, which voted against it.
The group believes that the possible disappearance of the line would leave users without a public transport connection necessary for the mobility of the region. In this sense, it highlights the importance of the service for workers, students, and residents who have to travel between municipalities, as well as to connect with other means of transport, especially with the sa Pobla train station.
“We cannot accept that the mobility of the residents of sa Pobla and the northern area depends on the tourist season,” defends the group, which considers that public transport must guarantee connectivity throughout the year.
Support for the signature collection
Given the lack of response from the Government, a signature collection campaign has been launched to demand the continuity of line 315. Independents de sa Pobla has expressed its support for the citizen initiative and has encouraged residents and public transport users to join in.
The group frames the demand as a defense of accessible and continuous public transport, and considers that the issue affects territorial cohesion and equal opportunities for residents in the northern area of Mallorca. "Sa Pobla cannot be left disconnected during the winter," it concludes.
