Father and one-year-old daughter injured after being hit by driver who ran a stop sign

A tourist did not respect a yield sign at an intersection and was hit by another vehicle that was passing correctly

PalmA driver ran a yield sign in Palma and left a one-year-old baby and her father, who were in another vehicle driving correctly, with minor injuries.

The accident, as reported by the Palma Local Police on their social media, took place around 4:45 PM last Saturday on Robert Graves street.

A car did not respect a yield sign at an intersection and was hit by another that was passing correctly. The collision was so strong that the second vehicle was projected and crashed into the corner of a building.

Inside the car, which suffered very serious material damage, were a father with his two minor daughters, one 18 months old and the other seven years old. The baby and her father suffered minor injuries and were transferred to a hospital. The seven-year-old, for her part, was unharmed. The Municipal Unit for Accident Vehicles (UVAC) has opened an investigation to clarify the facts.
