PalmThe detachment of a large rock has caused serious material damage this Tuesday in a villa in Cala Galdana (Menorca). Due to the impact, the rock has pierced the roof and entered the interior of the dwelling where, fortunately, and despite the residents being inside, they were not injured.
The incident occurred around 11:00 AM when, apparently, the strong wind affecting Menorca this Tuesday motivated the fall of a tree, whose roots loosened the rock that fell on the house.
The resident couple has been evacuated pending a determination of whether the incident has affected the structure of the dwelling.
