PalmaA man has been arrested by the National Police in Portocristo as the alleged perpetrator of a sexual assault on a disabled woman, to whom he allegedly supplied drugs and alcohol and tied her up with ropes.
The events allegedly took place last Tuesday in this area of the municipality of Manacor, when the victim allegedly accompanied the man to his home. According to sources close to the case, they both knew each other because he runs a bar in the same town.
Once in the apartment, the man allegedly provided her with narcotic substances that caused her to become unwell. Upon regaining consciousness, the woman allegedly discovered she was tied by the neck with a rope. After a struggle, she managed to hit the alleged aggressor and flee the property to ask for help.
The victim was taken to the Hospital of Manacor, where, accompanied by her mother, she underwent a medical examination. Subsequently, she filed a complaint for sexual assault.
The National Police arrested the man for alleged crimes of sexual assault and injury. This Thursday, after appearing in court, he was released on bail.
