PalmaThe Mallorca Fire Department rescued a woman by helicopter this Saturday who had injured her leg while hiking in the Peguera area, in Calvià.
The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m., according to the emergency services. The woman was hiking with other people when she fell and injured her leg.
Given the impossibility of continuing the route, the Mallorca Fire Department activated the helicopter to extract the injured woman from the area. Once evacuated, they left her at a point where a SAMU 061 ambulance was waiting, which took charge of the transport and care of the woman.
