PalmaThe National Police and the Local Police of Palma deployed a police operation this Friday in the Son Banya shantytown as part of a crackdown on urban planning violations and drug trafficking.
As reported by the police forces, agents from the Palma Local Police and personnel from the Drug and Organized Crime Unit (Udyco) of the National Police are participating in the operation.
The operation focuses on the detection and prosecution of violations related to urban planning and the fight against the trafficking of narcotic substances in the shantytown. The operation remains ongoing this Friday and, for the moment, the police forces have not reported the number of participating agents or the results of the actions.
