Trial for the murder of Matilde Muñoz: the workers saw nothing
The body of the woman from Mallorca was found in an advanced state of decomposition, after having been hidden in several locations of the Bumi Aditya hotel in Indonesia.
PalmA worker at the hotel in Lombok (Indonesia) where Matilde Muñoz from Mallorca was murdered on July 2nd said this Wednesday in the second session of the trial, held on the tourist island of the Asian archipelago, that the workers did not see or notice anything "suspicious".
"We only peeked out the window (of Muñoz's room). We didn't see anything. We didn't notice anything suspicious," declared the Indonesian Nurmala Hayati – known as in Bad—, summoned to testify as a witness this Wednesday.
Muñoz's body was found in an advanced state of decomposition, after having been hidden in various locations of the Bumi Aditya Hotel in Lombok for almost two months.
The employee and another hotel worker, Habib – known as Abi–, were two of the ten witnesses summoned this Wednesday by the Indonesian Prosecutor's Office, in the context of the trial taking place in the Mataram court, in Lombok, since December 17.
During the first session of the trial, the Indonesian prosecution accused another hotel employee and a former employee, Suhaeli – known as Eli– and Heri Ridwan –Geri—, of killing Muñoz, who was 72 years old at the time, after breaking into his room to rob him.
