Two women and three children evicted from two homes in Son Roca and Son Anglada
The eviction has been carried out despite activists invoking legislation that prevents evictions if there are minors.

PalmStop Desahucios Mallorca has reported that two evictions were carried out this Tuesday in two homes located in Son Roca and Son Anglada, from which two women and three minors were evicted.
The entity has indicated that the first occurred in a home located on Cap de Formentor Street and was requested by the Real Estate Credit Union (UCI), linked to Banco Santander, as explained by Stop Desahucios Mallorca in a statement.
The affected individuals are an elderly woman suffering from a work-related illness and allegedly evicted for non-payment of her mortgage. The eviction occurred "without prior notice following a bankruptcy during the pandemic."
The second eviction took place on Camino de Jesús and was promoted by investors who allegedly purchased the property from a vulture fund linked to Banco Sabadell. According to Stop Evictions, the investment group had promised social housing for the woman and the three minors, something that has not been fulfilled. Five National Police vehicles were deployed for the eviction, and the eviction went ahead despite Stop Evictions activists having invoked legislation that prevents evictions if minors are involved.
