A two-year-old boy is admitted to hospital after drowning in a swimming pool in Llucmajor.

PalmA two-year-old boy has been hospitalized after drowning in the swimming pool of a private property in Llucmajor. The incident, according to Europa Press, the circumstances of which are unknown, occurred around 5 p.m. this Monday.

The child's parents rescued him and took him to a medical center, where paramedics managed to stabilize him and bring him to safety. Afterward, and although his life was not initially in danger, he was evacuated by ambulance to Son Espases Hospital in Palma.
