ManacorThe first affordable housing in the Balearic Islands is now ready, and it's located in Manacor. In fact, the developer Grup Con Tu (based on Avenida del Torrent in Manacor) already made an initial visit to the media and early buyers in mid-February of this year. Now, a few months later, it has announced that this Monday, starting at 10:00 a.m., it will hold an open house to unveil its first completed 10-story building, located at 63 Avenida del Tren.

The block where these apartments have been renovated was the former cutting factory. The developer has requested a change of use for the property to transform it into affordable housing. It has also acquired six other properties on the same avenue.

There are currently around 9,100 people on the waiting list, so a lottery is planned for those candidates who meet the requirements and are on the list. The apartments have a surface area of 62 square meters and start at €119,000.

Representatives from the developer, government officials, Manacor City Council, and the future owners of the homes will participate in the event. The event is also open to the public who would like to visit the new apartments and experience this type of housing firsthand, as guided tours will be available, and a waiting list will be set up for those interested in purchasing one affordably.
