ManacorThe sports watch company Garmin has chosen a Mallorcan business, founded by Manacor native Antoni Pedrajas Cabrer and Carrió native Albert Cànaves Santandreu, to present its new model: the Fenix 9 Pro. Two days of outdoor activities along the coast of Manacor with 30 journalists from Spain and Portugal in a world-scale launch.

Eco Island Adventure is a local establishment located in S'Illot and founded in 2022. That a world-leading company in sports watches trusts in a business born on the island and built by two young people, represents recognition of the work of local shops, and highlights the value of the Mallorcan Llevant for these types of events.

"It is a pride that a brand like Garmin Iberia has decided to bet on us for such an important presentation. We believe it is very positive that big brands trust local commerce, the experience and the work we do every day, both us and all the Mallorcans who choose to undertake on the island,” says Toni, co-founder of Eco Island Adventure. “For a company that is born and grows from here, receiving this trust is an opportunity and a recognition that we value very much."

For Eco Island Adventure, the choice has a value that goes beyond the event itself. The company wants to bet on an active tourism model “that contributes to the sustainable development of the island and to environmental awareness, of respect for its surroundings”.

"For Garmin, it is essential to be able to count on teams that know the terrain where we carry out our activations; it is also a great opportunity to get closer to the local area and connect with it in a more authentic way. Working with Eco Island Adventure to showcase the brand's latest releases has been a way to enrich the experience, build trust and highlight local talent,” points out Luis Visús, Marketing Director of Garmin Iberia.
