The competition continues this Saturday and Sunday with performances by the eight participating choirs
PalmBinissalem kicked off its 4th Choral Competition this Friday afternoon, an event that brings together choirs from across Spain year after year and takes place, as is tradition, in the Church of Santa Maria de Robines. The day began with an official reception at Binissalem Town Hall, where the mayor welcomed the selected choirs and the competition jury. During the event, a draw was held to determine the order of performance for the participating choirs over the two days of competition. The official presentation of the competition was later held in the church of Binissalem. The evening culminated with a performance by the Cor Jove del Moianès, directed by Elisenda Cabero and Carles Farreras, who performed a varied repertoire combining Christmas carols with traditional songs and some original religious works. The choir offered a diverse repertoire that moved the audience. The competition continues this Saturday and Sunday with performances by the eight participating choirs.
