ManacorThe National Police, with the collaboration of the Local Police of Manacor, has arrested five members of the same family, including a minor, for attempting to occupy a villa in Manacor. The individuals assured the officers that they had paid 3,000 euros to a man to access the property.

The events date back to March 25, when 091 received an alert about a possible occupation on a plot of land in the municipality. When the officers arrived, they verified that the access was blocked with planks placed, according to witnesses, that very morning.

The police called towards the interior of the property until a man opened the door and explained that he had been living in the house with his uncle's family for over a month. Subsequently, the officers identified four other people, all from the same family unit, among whom was a minor.

During the intervention, one of those involved admitted that they had paid 3,000 euros to an individual to facilitate their entry into the property, although they could not provide details about this person. In parallel, the officers contacted the owner, who explained that the villa is a second family residence and that no one had been there for a few days.

After verifying the situation, the officers proceeded to arrest the five family members as alleged perpetrators of the crime of home invasion.
