PalmThe Lloret Town Council, the Antònia Alzina Primary School, and the Social Services of the Pla de Mallorca Association of Municipalities have launched the town's Children's Council. This collaboration has made it possible to create a new space for participation designed to give the town's children a voice and a leading role in decisions that directly affect them. The working group is made up of the mayor; the councilors for Education, Social Services, and Children's Affairs; the school's principal; a technician from the Pla de Mallorca Association of Municipalities; and nine students from grades 4, 5, and 6 who will act as representatives for their classes. The presence of these children reinforces the commitment to giving young people an active role in community life and to fostering a participatory culture from within the school. With the creation of this team, Lloret de Vistalegre takes a step forward in promoting children's participation and building a more inclusive municipality, where the opinions and needs of children are heard and valued.
