World Book 2025

Barcelona. May 23-25

The Món Llibre festival will celebrate its 20th edition from May 23 to 25 with a program focused on literature and play, taking place in various venues across Barcelona. The festival, aimed at children aged 0 to 12, will feature a large exhibition at the CCCB (Centro Cultural Barcelona) where visitors can play. This year, Món Llibre has a new director, Anna Juan and Piu Martínez, and is shifting its focus to children's and young adult literature, moving away from the performing arts, which played a significant role in previous editions. The festival will include two reading rooms where books become games. There will also be workshops in lithography, printmaking, and illustration, among others, to encourage children's creativity, as well as a dedicated space for teenagers.
