Jaume Alzamora officially resigns from all his positions at MÉS por Mallorca.

PalmJaume Alzamora, the current spokesperson for MÁS por Mallorca in the Consell (Mallorca Council), officially resigned from all institutional and organizational positions he held within the party this Thursday, thus ending a 15-year political career.
In his farewell speech at the Consell plenary session, Alzamora championed politics as "not a profession, but a temporary act of public service" and asserted that he is "stepping aside" to make room for new voices within the eco-sovereignty party, to which he will remain committed from outside the institutions.
The former councilor, who announced his resignation on July 1, thanked his personal entourage, party colleagues, and civil servants for their support, and asserted that he is leaving "with the satisfaction of having been consistent and honest" with his values.
