A group of bathers pulled the man out of the water, unconscious and with no vital signs.

PalmAn 84-year-old man drowned this Sunday at Torrentó beach in El Molinar, Palma. According to SAMU 061, the incident occurred at 11:15 a.m. when a group of bathers pulled the unconscious man from the water.
A doctor was present at the scene and began basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) until SAMU 061 resources arrived.
An Advanced Life Support ambulance was dispatched to the area and the man was given advanced CPR. Medical personnel were unable to save his life and his death was later certified.
