PalmA man drowned at midday on the beach of Port de Sóller, according to emergency services.
Lifeguards on the beach began CPR until the arrival of paramedics from SAMU 061, who also tried unsuccessfully to save the man's life.
Two ambulances, an emergency command vehicle, and a logistical support vehicle were dispatched to the scene. 112 psychologists are also providing care to the victim's family.
