Man injured after truck overturns in Porreres

PalmThe driver of a truck carrying construction materials was injured after the vehicle overturned in Mallorca. The accident, according to the Mallorca Fire Department, occurred at 3:21 p.m. this Tuesday at kilometer five of the Ma-5040 highway. The driver was trapped inside the truck and had to be transported by paramedics from the SAMU 061 emergency medical service to a hospital. The construction materials he was transporting spilled onto the road. Firefighters from the Llucmajor and Felanitx fire stations, as well as officers from the Local Police and the Civil Guard, responded to the incident.
