PalmaA 17-year-old young woman has been seriously injured after jumping from a cliff about 30 meters high at Caló del Moro (Santanyí). The events, as reported by SAMU 061, took place shortly before 4:00 PM.
The minor would have jumped into the sea from a height of approximately 30 meters and suffered the injuries at the moment she hit the water. The young woman was conscious at all times, but suffered back injuries and problems moving her legs.
The paramedics attended to her, stabilized and immobilized her until the arrival of the Mallorca Firefighters' helicopter, which transferred her to Inca Hospital.
