PalmWith less than a month to go until the start of the 2026 Football World Cup, the village of Son Banya has already joined the sporting atmosphere. Various stalls in the well-known settlement have been decorated in recent days with silhouettes of footballers linked to the Spanish national team. Among the figures that can be seen are historical names like Raúl or Casillas, but also current players like Pedri, Ferran Torres or Isco.
Despite the police actions and demolitions promoted by the Palma City Council, residents continue to rebuild these spaces and maintain a very visible aesthetic that often ends up generating media repercussion.
