PalmThe Correllengua Agermanat 2026 arrives in the Balearic Islands to ignite the Flame that crosses the entirety of Catalan-speaking territories in a symbolic chain that unites towns, islands, and cities in a single celebration of language and culture. After having traversed Catalonia and the Valencian Country with a massive response and a multitudinous participation, the project arrives this year in the Balearic Islands to continue an itinerary that has already established itself as one of the most transversal cultural mobilizations of recent years.

The initiative, driven by young collectives and cultural entities, proposes a shared journey in which the Flame becomes the common thread of a shared narrative expressed through music, popular culture, and linguistic vindication. It is not just a festive tour, but a way of extending, from town to town, the same idea of community cultural that is recognized in the language.

Map of the Correllengua Agermanat route through the Balearic Islands

On the Islands, the Correllengua is deploying an especially ambitious format this year, with two major routes that cross Mallorca from end to end and with the presence of events in Ibiza and Formentera. Each stop turns the passage of the Flama into a small local celebration, with groups, concerts, and gatherings that make the continuity of the route a collective story.

The end of the first part of the route through Mallorca will be in Felanitx and the arrival of the Flama will coincide with one of the most anticipated moments of the program: the concert that will mark the return of La Gossa Sorda.

The final point will arrive in Palma, where the Flama will meet the central event after having traveled through the Archipelago, in an edition that reaffirms the brotherhood of the project and its will to connect, through culture, the entire shared space of the Catalan language.
