The Demon of Sa Revolta de Vilafranca retires after 10 years

VilafrancaThe Demon of His Revolt of Vilafranca, Boio, is retiring after 10 years. Guillem Mas Barceló made his final retreat on Saturday during the Diada Revoltera, and in the early hours of Sunday, August 3rd, he will experience his final Revolt as a demon.

Before Saturday's departure, the Sa Revolta collective already knew the news. Boio made the final retreat accompanied by the bigheads and the Porreres Music Band.

"Revolters, revolters, this year will be my last retreat and my last Revolta as a demon," Mas announced in a message sent to members of the Sa Revolta collective, friends, and acquaintances.

The Demon of Sa Revolta is proud to have embodied the evil figure for a decade at this neo-festa, the oldest in the Pla de Mallorca: "It has been an honor to have been Boio for more than 10 years, thanks to the testimony given to me by Jaume Font." Margoi"I had a great time!"

Mas affirms that "in every ending there is a new beginning: now it is time to give way to younger people, to people who have seen this festival grow. A Revolt that we have built with effort and also with a lot of laughter. A group of friends that, over the years, has become more than a family.
