PalmaThe Balearic Islands have once again set a record for human pressure, according to Ibestat data this past February with 1.32 million people. According to the figures, this is 0.91% more than the same month in 2025.

According to the same figures, the highest level of human pressure was on February 19, 2026, which exceeded the previous year's by 11,861 people. On the other hand, the lowest figure was 1.26 million people in the archipelago as a whole and experienced an interannual growth of 0.66%, that is, 8,286 people.

The February average was 1.29 million people, representing a 0.64% or, the equivalent of 8,271 people. By island, in Mallorca the day with the most people was February 13, with 1.03 million. In Menorca, the day of highest pressure was February 23 with 105,569 people; in Ibiza on February 18 with 170,948 people and in Formentera on the 21st with 12,602 people.
