The TIB strike continues after the meeting with the TAMIB employers failed.
Workers will protest again at the airport starting at 10:00 a.m.

PalmNo agreement has emerged after more than six hours of meetings between the SATI union, representing the TIB workers, and the employers' association that manages the transport company. The meeting that had been called at TAMIB to try to reach an agreement and call off the strike has yielded no results.
"We had been summoned to the Arbitration Court with a proposal that we understood would enable a preliminary agreement, but instead, the employers' association came eager to backtrack on other issues that had already been agreed upon, and all that remained was to draft the final text," union sources lamented. "The biggest obstacle we face is that the employers' association refuses to include minimum breaks between shifts in the text of the agreement, an issue we will not give up on due to its vital importance," they noted.
Given this situation, the workers' representatives have indicated that the strike remains on and that this Wednesday the workers will gather at the airport starting at 10:00 a.m. In the afternoon, they will meet again with the employers at 4:00 p.m. at the TAMIB.
