They break the barriers of a Pere Garau park to enter and bottle.
Residents say that acts of vandalism are constantly repeated without any action to stop them.

PalmResidents of the Pere Garau neighborhood (Palma) have reported that a group of young people have broken the barriers in the Plaza Jorge Lluís Borges to access the bottle service and consume alcoholic beverages. They lament that this is not the first time such an incident has occurred, and almost every night there are crowds of young people who bottle shop without any kind of control.
In this case, the act of vandalism occurred in a playground that closes every night at 10 p.m. "This type of behavior not only damages a public space, but also sends a clear message of disrespect toward the neighborhood and its residents," the Flipau association with Pere Garau denounced in a statement.
In this regard, they assert that last week they reported to Palma City Council both the repeated acts of vandalism occurring in the neighborhood and the filth that has accumulated in some places, but they have not yet received a response.
However, they demand that the Cort immediately repair the damaged fence, ensure that the facility's closing time is observed, which in summer is until 10 p.m., increase the frequency of cleaning and coordination between EMAYA and the company subcontracted by the Parks area; increase the leisure offering for young people in Pere Garau; intensify surveillance especially at night and on weekends; and launch specific awareness campaigns in neighborhood schools and youth centers.
