This fact has been reported by the Instagram profile Islands in Resistance, where they have stated that "we cannot allow tourists to come and destroy the coastline like this." Furthermore, they emphasized that tolerating this behavior can cause a knock-on effect and increase vandalism in natural areas. "He wrote a name and someone else will see it and do the same thing, and so on," they lamented.

The comments have not been long in coming, with many wondering if he would do this in their country and demanding urgent measures to put an end to this type of tourism that "destroys the island." Many users tagged the police in the post, while others tagged Calvià Town Hall, demanding swift and decisive action.

The tourist is Gregor James Hamill, a Scottish personal trainer who offers weight-loss challenges and workshops to people. He explains that he decided to paint his son's name because he's the channel's spiritual guide and the one who gives people the strength to stay active and keep exercising.
