Two seriously injured and one slightly injured in a house fire in Algaida
A woman with burns and her husband suffering from smoke inhalation have been taken to Son Llàtzer and Son Espases hospitals in serious condition.
PalmTwo people were seriously injured—one with burns and the other with smoke inhalation—and a third suffered minor injuries in a fire that broke out last night in a house in Algaida. According to SAMU 061, they received a call at 12:20 a.m. reporting fire and smoke on the second floor of a house in the town, with at least two people inside. The two seriously injured are a married couple, who were taken by emergency services to Son Llàtzer and Son Espases hospitals in serious condition. The third person, who suffered minor injuries, did not require hospitalization after being assessed by emergency personnel at the scene. The incident required the deployment of a Basic Life Support (BLS) unit and an Advanced Life Support (ALS) unit to the scene, as well as a doctor from the Llucmajor Primary Care Center (PAC) to provide support. Firefighters from Mallorca and the Algaida Local Police also assisted in extinguishing the fire and rescuing the injured. Two of the injured suffered smoke inhalation, and the other, the wife, suffered burns.
