PalmThe State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) will activate an orange warning this week for all of the Balearic Islands due to rainfall that could accumulate up to 50 liters per square meter in just a few hours. The change in weather began to be noticed this Sunday afternoon, with isolated drizzle in some places, and will become more pronounced this Monday with periods of cloudiness and rain accompanied by mud and thunder, particularly strong in Mallorca.

According to forecasts, the situation will worsen on Tuesday, when showers and thunderstorms could be locally very strong or even torrential, with very strong wind gusts associated with the storm. For that day, Aemet has activated an orange warning for the entire Balearic Islands.

Unstable conditions will continue on Wednesday, with periods of cloudiness and showers that could be locally strong or very strong until evening. The temperature will tend to drop slightly, and the wind will blow lightly to moderately, predominantly from the north. However, there are no notifications activated at the moment.
