PalmThe recently renovated Misericordia Gardens will host the 36th Catalan Book Week 2025 from the 17th to the 21st. This event is organized by the Mallorcan Booksellers' Guild. The following publishers will have exhibitors: Editorial Moll, Lleonard Muntaner Editor, and AdiA Edil.

The Guild's vice president, Laia Alegret, stated that the event "is much more than a fair: it is a space for meeting and celebrating our language and our culture," the cultural entity reported in a statement. In addition to the book exhibitors, the week will feature a broad program of activities combining literature, music, and children's shows.

For her part, Antònia Roca emphasized that "the Consell de Mallorca is fully committed to the language and culture of our island, which is why it is once again making this Catalan Book Week possible." She noted that this year the Consell is participating with its own book house, where workshops and activities related to fables will be held, and where the award-winning books for the 2024 Mallorca Literary Creation Awards will also be presented. Finally, she wished to thank the Booksellers' Guild and the Mallorcan publishing houses, "without whom this would be impossible."
