PalmaThe UIB has asked students taking the University Entrance Exams (PAU) this week to arrive on campus well in advance and to prioritize the use of public transport. Metro and bus frequencies can be consulted on the portals of the Transport of the Balearic Islands (TIB) and the Palma Municipal Transport Company (EMT).

With the aim of ensuring traffic flow during examination days, the UIB has established various mobility measures. For private vehicles, the university community is recommended to access the campus through the Son Lledó entrance, while PAU students should preferably use the access from the ParcBit roundabout.

Access and parking restrictions have also been planned at various points on campus, especially on the paths of Conillera, la Dragonera, and na Foradada, located behind and between the Guillem Cifre de Colonya and Gaspar M. de Jovellanos buildings, where a large part of the tests will take place. Similarly, parking will not be allowed in various sections of the paths of Mallorca and Eivissa, around the Anselm Turmeda, Beatriu de Pinós, Guillem Cifre de Colonya, and Gaspar M. de Jovellanos buildings.

Places to park

The University recommends using the car park at the entrance to Son Lledó and reminds that the reserved spaces for people with reduced mobility will remain operational without any impact. Likewise, at the entrances to Son Lledó and the Archduke Lluís Salvador building (Hotel Management School), departures towards Valldemossa will be limited, and traffic will be diverted exclusively towards Palma to avoid traffic jams. The operation will be completed with the presence of security personnel, who will regulate traffic within the campus to ensure its proper functioning during the examination days.

Regarding pedestrian travel, on June 2, 3, and 4, several pedestrian paths will be open between the buildings Margalida Comas i Camps, Beatriu de Pinós, Antoni Maria Alcover i Sureda, and Guillem Colom Casasnovas, in order to facilitate students' arrival from the metro station to the examination points.

The UIB emphasizes that all these measures aim to ensure agile, safe, and orderly mobility during the PAU (University Entrance Exams), and thanks in advance for the collaboration of the university community to minimize possible incidents.
