PalmA 47-year-old man died this Thursday in Palma after being subdued with an electroshock device by the National Police due to his agitated state. According to reports, the incident occurred around 4:15 a.m., when an emergency call was received alerting authorities that a highly agitated man was shouting and breaking objects at a residence in Palma. The man's three children took refuge at a neighbor's house, and when the officers arrived, the man was still agitated. When he refused to comply with the officers' instructions, one of them used an electroshock device (taser). The man went into cardiac arrest, and the police began resuscitation efforts, also requesting an ambulance. Paramedics continued resuscitation efforts, but were unable to save his life. The National Police Homicide Unit has taken charge of the investigation, arriving at the scene along with forensic officers.
