PalmaThe municipal group Unió Independent d'Artà (UIA) has changed its name to MÉS per Artà i Colònia de Sant Pere after integrating into the political project of MÉS per Mallorca. As the party explained, this integration will allow for strengthened coordination between the two groups and maintain autonomy in decision-making at the municipal level.

The party has stated that it will continue to defend issues such as the protection of the territory, environmentalism, access to housing, feminism, equality, the defense of Catalan, freedom of expression, and social cohesion.

The coordinator of the group, Jordi Cabrer, highlighted that the party has been a pioneer in "conserving the coast, providing the municipality with important facilities such as the sports center or the theater, and defending our language".

For their part, the coordinator of MÉS per Mallorca, Lluís Apesteguia, has encouraged the group to continue working "on the ground" to respond to problems such as housing, tourist saturation, and the defense of the language.
