Vidal accuses Prohens of "inconsistent and inhumane" attitudes regarding the arrival of boats and the reception of minors.
The eco-sovereignist says that thanks to his efforts with the Ministry of Children, the amount of support for fostering children has increased to two million euros.

PalmVicenç Vidal, a member of Congress for Sumar MÁS, said this Monday that he feels "deeply aggravated by the inconsistent and inhuman attitude of Marga Prohens's government" in relation to the Prime Minister's recent attitude toward the arrival of migrants. For the lower house member, "the priority in a situation like the one we are experiencing is the defense of human rights and common sense."
In this sense, he says he "does not understand in any way the position of absolute blockage regarding the issue of distribution that President Prohens maintains." A blockage that "does not help at all" because, in his opinion, "if the Balearic Islands find themselves in the situation of the Canary Islands at some point, what we will have to do is resort to the migration contingency - voted against by the PP in the State - and the solidarity of other territories."
Vidal, who has shown concern about the controversies between the Civil Guard and Maritime Rescue, has asked, sarcastically: "How does Prohens think Mazón, Ayuso and Andalusia governed by the PP and Vox will react the day the problem arises?"
In conclusion, the eco-sovereignty MP explained that thanks to his efforts with the Ministry of Children, headed by Sira Rego (Sumar), they have increased the amount of support for fostering children to two million euros. "Opposing the fostering of minors on economic or security grounds is abhorrent," Vidal added.
