19-year-old youth dies stabbed in Son Gotleu
The National Police has already arrested a suspect who at this time is accused of murder
PalmaA 19-year-old man died this Sunday evening after being stabbed on Indalecio Prieto street, in the Palma neighborhood of Son Gotleu. The victim was taken in critical condition to Son Espases University Hospital, but eventually died during emergency surgery.
The incident took place around 11 p.m. at a bar in the Son Gotleu neighborhood. When emergency services arrived at the scene, they found the young man on the ground, in cardiorespiratory arrest and with a stab wound to the abdomen, according to the 061 medical service.
The paramedics performed advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) maneuvers and managed to restore his vital signs. Once stabilized, he was taken in critical condition to Son Espases. Upon arriving at the hospital, the young man was sent to the operating room where he underwent emergency surgery in an attempt to save his life. However, he eventually died due to the severity of his injuries.
At the time of the stabbing report, National Police officers arrived at the scene and arrested one person accused of homicide. So far, no further details have emerged regarding the circumstances of the stabbing.
