Another horse in the saddle has collapsed in Palma: the PP denounces its "disastrous management"
They demand that the animal be immobilized until a veterinary examination and that any possible violations be sanctioned.

PalmProgreso en Verde is once again demanding an end to horse carriages after a horse collapsed this Saturday in the center of Palma. The animal rights party, in a statement, criticized the "disastrous management" of Palma City Council "for failing to comply with the approval and putting an end to the horse carriage service."
According to Progreso en Verde, the incident occurred around 3 p.m., when a horse collapsed with signs of exhaustion. The animal remained on the ground for several minutes and was able to get back up with the help of members of the public.
According to the party, the horse carriage driver "did not know how to react to the fall" and the horse "was not properly shod."
"It's an absolute disgrace. Another horse has collapsed in Palma due to the disastrous management of the PP. The carriage service is a complete mess, with no control over the animals or the drivers' infractions," criticized the president of Progreso en Verde, Guillermo Amengual. The party has demanded that the horse be immobilized until a veterinarian checks its condition and that any infractions that may be detected be sanctioned.
"Many carriage drivers don't know how to react when a horse falls, which increases the danger for both the animal and the citizens. We must put an end to exploitation and abuse," Amengual stressed, who also accused the PP of "withdrawing respect from carriage drivers and making them obey female drivers."
